Chris Eastland

Chris studied and taught classical portrait painting for seven years in Florence, Italy during the early 2000's. Having completed my training, he moved to New York City to take a break from tradition and to learn contemporary tools for making commercial artwork. Chris worked at Quest magazine as their photography editor, staff photographer, writer and graphic illustrator. After leaving Quest he co-founded ZooBorns Inc., a popular website and resulting book series showcasing baby animals born at Accredited Zoos and Aquariums. Chris now divides his time between fine art and graphic art. His unique training and solid classical foundation allows him to tell his clients' story on canvas, in print, and on the web.
