Brooklyn-based designer and art director with 20 years across brand, editorial, pitchbook, web, and book design. I run Eastland Creative and co-founded ZooBorns — where I’ve art-directed 15 titles with Simon & Schuster, including a release this past August. Long-tenured clients include Joseph Finder (17 years), Providence Real Estate (7+ years), and Discover Polk CBD in San Francisco.
I started at the photography editor seat at Quest magazine, taught myself Adobe by watching the art department, and have been hands-on in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign every day since. Outside the studio I’m a classically-trained portrait painter — seven years at Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence. It informs how I think about craft and finish.
Currently open to contract, project-based, and retainer engagements — remote or in NYC.
